Cranberry punch

Ingredients:

400 ml cranberry juice
50 g sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
4 cloves
2 star anis pods
100 g fresh cranberries
300 ml red wine
zest of 1 orange

 

Preparation:


In a saucepan, bring the cranberry juice with sugar, orange zest, spices and cranberries to boil. Simmer for app. 1-2 minutes until most of the berries burst, then remove from heat, cover and leave for at least 20 minutes.

Add red wine and heat but do not boil. Serve hot!
