Nougat dumplings

100-125 g nougat

200 ml milk

75 g butter
200 g flour
2 egg yolks

50 g Butter 
80 g hazelnuts, ground
50 g breadcrumbs
20 g sugar


Cut the nougat into 8 cubes and cool.

For the dough, boil the milk with butter and salt. Stir in flour and roast, constantly stirring, until the mixture dissolves from the saucepan bottom. Remove from the heat and place in a bowl. Gradually stir in the yolks, then allow to cool.

Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Fill the dough pieces with nougat cubes and fold them together to form dumplings. Bring water to a boil and let the dumplings soak in them (about 12-15 minutes).

Melt butter in a pan and roast the nuts, breadcrumbs and sugar in it. Put the cooked dumplings in it and turn well. Serve immediately.
